First I'll tell you how HomeGuard's service will
be faster. I myself used to be an insulator and an estimator for another company
for 2 years. Most insulation companies pay their employees piece work. That intern gets the
job done faster, because the employees get paid when the job is done. But most companies
are ran by poeple who have never insulated a day in their lives. These people don't realize that
some places are harder to insulate than others, so they pay the same piece work for the same types of insulation. I
don't, I pay according to the difficulty. To even the cost out I don't charge 40%
to 50% mark up on labor and materials like every other insulation company. That's why I
will be cheaper.
Now I'll tell you how I will provide better service.
I am the owner, my name is Lewis R. Scribner, you will deal with me personally and I will deal
with and questions and/or problems you have. The main thing that will make our service is, we will not make any mistakes. That means we will not
have to come back to fix or finish anything, which means no wasting your time and money. I make this happen by offering my personal money to my employees.
Just like there is incentives to get the job faster there has to be a reason to do it better. If
there is no call backs from the customer and if I approve of the job after I personally walk through then I give
each employee that worked on the job a $50 Quality Bonus out of my profit.
That's my secret to my service.
It all comes down to the Employees. I treat them good, and they provide
you with better, faster service and then I charge you less.
